Where it sits. Matching joins market intelligence to your private context: the score reads the investor directory, and the warm paths read your own CRM, never anyone else's.
The score
Every point has a name
Describe the raise: sectors, stage, where you raise, where they should be based, the cheque. Ishara ranks all 32,822 investors by a 160-point score and prints the reasons each name earned, so a wrong reason is visible at once.
One score, spelled out: 2 sectors 40 + Seed 20 + cheque inside range 20 + based in Riyadh 15 + last deal 14 months ago 15 + leads rounds 10 = 120 of 160.
Where an investor invests and where they sit are two questions, and the form asks both, so a seed investor based in Riyadh earns points that a distant fund with an old record cannot.

Warm paths
Four ways your CRM already knows them
Before anything goes out cold, open any name and see who in your own workspace can get you there: colleagues at the firm, co-investors you already know, people at the firm with a record in your CRM, and the investor's portfolio companies that are already your contacts.
Strongest path first, drawn only from your own records. Warm introductions, step by step
The prep brief
Walk into the meeting already briefed
One click on any profile, and a brief that reads in under a minute.
The thesis
What they back, at which stage and cheque, and where your raise sits against it.
The track record
Their newest deals, the rounds they led and the ranked lists they sit on.
The way in
The warm paths from your own CRM and the name that can introduce you. AI drafts, and you approve before anything is written. Ishara AI
Shortlist to pipeline
From ranked names to a raise you can run
Select rows and add them to a raise pipeline, where each investor moves from Research through Outreach, Meeting and Diligence to Committed. Worked backwards, eight cheques can take 80 meetings and 200 replies, so the totals at every stage show how far you are from the round.
Example data
Size the top of the funnel with the raise pipeline calculator, and run the stages on pipelines.

Frequently asked questions
How is the score built?
A fixed 160-point score: sectors matched, 20 each up to 40; stages matched, 20 each up to 40; a cheque range that holds your ask, 20; declared investment geography, 15; based in your raise location, 15; a deal within 18 months, 15; leads rounds, 10; a Top-100 seat, 5.
Do investors see my search or my raise?
No. Your criteria, shortlist and pipeline stay inside your workspace. Nothing reaches an investor unless you send it yourself.
Do warm paths read my mailbox?
No. They match records already in your CRM: colleagues at the firm, co-investors, people at the firm and portfolio companies. They show the names of those records, never message content, and archived records never come back.
Can I share the shortlist?
Yes. The match is a link that carries the criteria, so anyone in your workspace who opens it sees the same ranking with the same reasons. Selected rows can also go into a shared raise pipeline.
Which plan includes matching?
Browsing the directory is free. Matching, warm paths, prep briefs and raise pipelines are part of Pro, at $12 per seat per month in early access.
